Superman Gets Kevin Costner as Jonathan Pa Kent?

A few hours ago, it was announced that Kevin Costner was blind for a unspecified role in Zack Snyder's upcoming big-screen reboot Superman. Now, a source close to the production revealed exactly who Kevin Costner is set to play.

If the source is correct, Kevin Costner will play Clark Kent's adoptive human father land Jonathan "Pa" Kent, the man who found baby Kal-El and the student become thesuperhero, disguised as mild-mannered reporter.

Kevin Costner will be following in the footsteps of Glenn Ford, who starred in the original 1978 Pa the big screen version of Superman.

Look for this casting rumor to be confirmed in the coming days. Superman comes to the theater in 2012 and stars Henry Cavill, Diane Lane. The film isdirected byZack Snyder.

Superman Gets Diane Lane as Martha Kent!

Diane Lane has signed to play Martha Kent in the reboot of Superman to come to the opposite Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel.

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures to put the production peak this summer and made this statement: Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures announced today that actress Diane Lane's Oscar ® plays Martha Kent, Clark Kent, only a mother has never felt that the new Superman movie is directed by Zack Snyder. 

Zack Snyder said: "It was a very important part of the votes for me, because that Martha Kent is a woman whose values have helped shape the man we know Superman.We delighted that the role of Diana, as it can transmit the wisdom and the application of a woman whose son is in his power as their imagination. "
